The ‘saree’ is predominantly common in Hindu weddings, as shown in the below picture. The draping of the saree is expertly completed in a fashionable manner in its pleats at both the waist and across the shoulder, that is so intricately and neatly accomplished to create a truly sophisticated look. In Kerala, there are primarily two types of sarees that are used on the wedding day; the ‘Settu Mundu’ or the ‘Pattu Saree’.
